South Australian author Leonie Kelsall will share her journey in becoming a successful author as part of the Australia Reads program.
Leonie is the author of 3 fiction books -The River Gum Cottage-The Wattle Seed Inn-The Farm at Peppertree Crossing
Leonie grew up in South Australian initially on the Fleurieu Peninsula in a tiny town where the school had a total of only 11 students. They family later moved to a farm near the Murray River. The isolation of her rural upbringing and her parents brave refusal to provide a TV let to a wild love affair with books.
Leonie now finds herself between her professional counselling practice the Adelaide Hills and her childhood farm which provides the setting for many of her stories.
