Evan Croker

Evan’s first middle-grade novel Space Dogs was published by Random House/Knopf in the USA, by ABC Books in Australia, and also released as an audio book. Well reviewed by Kirkus and others, it was optioned for TV and film production. It was co-written with Justin Ball. 

In 2024, Sunshine Books, NZ published five of his new education market titles — Wombat Valley, Ducks in a Row, Pie in the Sky, Living Room Beach, In the Loop — and a 3rd edition of an earlier book, Bottle from the Sea. Evan also writes short plays and films for adults. He previously managed a sketch comedy unit for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
