An acclaimed author and visual artist, Liz’s creative works are a celebration of life. Liz derives great joy from getting stuff out of her head and onto the blank canvas. Liz works with language, movement, colour, light, layering, texture and curiosity to produce fresh and spontaneous works.

Liz lives in Melbourne with her partner, pooch and whichever kidults happen to be in town at the time. She writes, paints, dreams, edits, teaches, volunteers, walks her favourite child (Toffee-dog), sometimes researches for Unimelb, reviews kids books for KBR, eats, drinks and believes passionately in the power of art/story to connect us and bring joy.
Liz has a Masters in Creative Writing, has authored books, chapters, academic articles for refereed journals, and has received and judged writing awards.
Teaching includes Queen’s Trust Award for teens with cancer and Community/Family workshops for Butterfly Art Studio.
Artwork acquisitions in corporate and private collections across Australia and internationally.
