In 2020 Suzanne was awarded the Speech Pathology Australia book of the year for Goat on a Boat written by Nick Dent, and was again shortlisted in 2023 for Wonderful Wasps written by Katrina Germein. In 2024 she was shortlisted in the Australian Wilderness Society Awards for Life in a Hollow written by Nick Dent.

She is constantly working on new and exciting projects, both fiction and non fiction. Including her most recent titles Where are all the Christmas Beetles? and Fabulous Frogs.

Suzanne will talk about picture books to anyone that will listen and especially loves visiting schools and libraries. She hopes that through her workshops and presentations she can inspire kids to be as creative as possible for as long as possible.
