Renée Treml creates picture books and graphic novels for children and young adults. She has a passion for natural history and aims to share her love and wonder for science and nature in all her books (even the ones for the littlest readers).
Renée has written and illustrated twelve picture books for very young readers, including best-selling and CBCA Notable books Ten Little Owls and This Little Joey. She is the creator of twelve graphic novels for junior and middle grade readers, including the best-selling Sherlock Bones series and the Super Adventures of Ollie and Bea series. Her first narrative non-fiction graphic novel, The Thylacine and the Time Machine, explores the past and possible future of the Tasmanian tiger and will be available in April 2025.
