Raeden Richardson is the author of The Degenerates. He was raised in Melbourne and graduated from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. His writing has been supported by the Elizabeth George Foundation, the Australia Council for the Arts, the American Australian Association Arts Fund, the Kittredge Fund and the Ian Potter Cultural Trust. He has been an artist-in-residence at Yaddo and La Napoule Foundation. His work has appeared, or is forthcoming, in The Sydney Morning Herald, Griffith Review, Kill Your Darlings, Meanjin and New Australian Fiction.
