Nick Earls

Nick Earls is the author of 28 books for adults, teenagers and children. His writing has won awards in Australia, the UK and US, and appeared on bestseller lists in those countries. His writing for adults includes eight novels, the novella series Wisdom Tree and three short story collections. He has a PhD in creative writing from the University of Queensland. Two of his novels have been adapted into feature films and five into stage plays. His most recent book is the novel Empires.
Nick regularly stages his Narrative Toolkit writing workshops in schools and for libraries, community groups and writing organisations. He often talks to school students and their parents about writing and reading, and frequently brings his Word Hunters etymology show and his New Boy migration talk to audiences of Year 4-6 students.
