Narrelle M Harris’s works include vampire novels, crime fiction, het and queer romance, and Holmes/Watson mysteries, as well as songs and poetry.  Some of her works have won or been nominated for awards. Recent works include the re-release of her Vampires of Melbourne novels The Opposite of Life – recently optioned for a film – and Walking Shadows, with the third book, Beyond Redemption, due in 2025. Narrelle also edits anthologies, including The Only One in the World: A Sherlock Holmes Anthology (2021) and Clamour and Mischief (2022). This Fresh Hell (2023), nominated for a Ditmar award, was co-edited with Katya de Becerra. Sherlock is a Girl’s Name (2024)  was co-edited with Atlin Merrick. Her latest book is The She-Wolf of Baker Street (2024), a contemporary, queer, paranormal take on the inhabitants of 221B Baker Street, which reviewers have called an “imaginative, entertaining and fast-paced novel” and “brilliantly executed”. In 2024, Narrelle also released three very short collections: Tales of the Minstrel Tongue, The Haunting of Baker Street, and The Swordmaster’s Secret and Other Stories.
