Martine Kropkowski

Martine Kropkowski was born in Canberra, raised in Sydney, and now lives and works in Meanjin/Brisbane. She has worked as a soldier, a journalist and an academic, and her essays on literature and culture, as well as her short fiction, have appeared in journals such as Griffith Review, The Conversation, Overland and Crackle Anthology.
Martine teaches professional and creative writing at The University of Queensland as well as in the community, and she is a regular speaker and in-conversation partner at literary events.
Her debut novel Everywhere We Look was published by Ultimo Press in October 2024.
