Marjory Gardner

Marjory Gardner is a freelance illustrator with over thirty years experience in children’s educational and trade book publishing. Her colourful, joyous illustrations have appeared in books and magazines in Australia and internationally. Marjory has travelled extensively around Australia giving workshops, including to remote indigenous communities. Her presentations include information about illustrating for picture books, where to get ideas, tips and techniques for making drawings ‘zing!’, and always include demonstrations as well as hands-on creative, fun drawing exercises. Her most recent picture book is Frankie Goes to Kindergarten, written by Peta Baxter and Connie Hemmens.
