Katrina Germein is a best-selling author of award-winning picture books. Published internationally, Katrina writes playful stories that inspire imagination, curiosity, and laughter. Her singalong title One Little Duck (illustrated by Danny Snell) was shortlisted for a CBCA Book of the Year Award, as was her much-loved tale Bev and Kev (illustrated by Mandy Foot), which was named an Honour Book. Katrina is also a past recipient of the Speech Pathology Book of the Year Award, a SCBWI Crystal Kite Award, and numerous CBCA Notable listings. Her work has been Highly Commended in the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards and recorded five times for the children’s television show, Play School. Katrina writes fiction and non-fiction and other popular titles include Big Rain Coming (illustrated by Brownyn Bacroft), My Dad Thinks He’s Funny (illustrated by Tom Jellett), and Fabulous Frogs (illustrated by Suzanne Houghton). She regularly delivers author talks, workshops, and interactive storytimes to readers of all ages.
