Karen Hendriks is an award winning children’s author who lives on the south coast of New South Wales. Karen has four picture books published and has more picture books coming in 2025. She has a teaching background and literacy is her speciality. Karen is a Books in Homes ambassador and facilitates workshops for both children and adults. She actively participates with students during school visits and genuinely loves sharing her passion for books. Karen regularly donates books for children to the Nelune Comprehensive Cancer Centre at Prince of Wales. She is excited for the release of her new picture books Vesper Jones & Marshmallow, Saving Pearl and Reef and Enid Thinks Outside the Shell in 2025.
