Jacqueline Harvey has had a passion for storytelling since she was a child. These days, having written more than 60 books, she is one of Australia’s most popular authors for children.
Best known for her award-winning series fiction including Alice-Miranda, Kensy and Max, Clementine Rose and Willa and Woof her sales number over 2 million copies. She has also released four picture books, That Cat, The Daring Tale of Gloria the Great, Kevin the Sheep and Kevin Saves the Show, all illustrated by one of her former students, Kate Isobel Scott. Kevin in a Stew is out mid-2025.
Jacqueline’s Alice-Miranda books have been made into two animated feature films available on STAN, Nine Now and Amazon Prime. Jacqueline has narrated over thirty audio books and cohosts a hilarious podcast called Real Stories with Random Writers.
A highly experienced educator and presenter, Jacqueline has delivered thousands of talks and workshops for children and adults at schools and festivals around the world.
With a reputation for creating books that are filled with adventure, mystery, humour and heart Jacqueline is currently working on several exciting new projects including a middle grade series called The Girl and the Ghost, launching May 2025.
