Jacinta Froud has been writing rhyming stories since she was knee high to a grasshopper. She is a teacher, book seller and Mum to three children.
Jacinta lives in Australia with her husband, children, a boisterous beagle and some rogue chooks.
Jacinta is the author of Jingle Belly (Larrikin House, November 2021), The Perfect Book (Self Published, March 2023), What Noise Does the Baby Make? (Windy Hollow Books, June 2024) and forthcoming, Dhana Banana (Starfish Bay, November 2025) & My Sister, the Todzilla (Affirm Press, February 2026).
Her favourite past-times include, hanging out with her family and friends, writing stories, playing AFL, laughing until she’s crying and making silly animal noises.
