Heidi McKinnon is a children’s book author and illustrator who lives in sunny Melbourne, Australia. With a background in art and design, Heidi creates books that are colourful, fun and filled with humour. Her books have been published around the world and have received numerous award nominations.
Heidi McKinnon is currently working on several exciting projects, including a sequel to her beloved character Floof with Allen & Unwin and a three-book series titled Little Cloud, set for release with Hardie Grant in late 2025. Heidi’s popular book I Just Ate My Friend continues to charm readers, while a refreshed board-book edition of There’s No Such Thing is set to hit shelves next June.
