Dina Davis

Dina Davis is an Australian author and writing mentor. She has been a panellist at the NT Writers’ Festivals in 2020 and 2022, and has given radio interviews on the ABC. Dina’s début novel, Capriccio, published by Cilento in 2018, was a finalist for the NT Chief Minister’s Fiction Award in 2020. Her second novel, A Dangerous Daughter was published by Cilento in 2021 under its Author First program. In 2021 Dina also co-authored Sharing Writers’ Skills, a guide to running a writers’ workshop, published by Ginninderra. In 2022 Dina was awarded an Arts/NT residential fellowship at Varuna, the Writers’ House, where she began work on her third novel. As Vice President of the NT Writers’ Centre Board from 2019 to 2024, Dina helped to create many opportunities for writers in the NT. She encourages emerging writers in their craft, and now convenes a monthly writers’ workshop. Dina Davis divides her time between Darwin in the NT and Randwick in NSW.
