Brooke Graham

Brooke Graham is a children’s author and primary school teacher. She writes heartfelt picture books, junior fiction and young adult.
Her debut picture book, Go Away, Worry Monster!, published by EK Books and illustrated by Robin Tatlow-Lord was CBCA shortlisted in 2021. Brooke’s second book, Nova’s Missing Masterpiece, also published by EK Books and illustrated by Robin was published in 2024. In 2025, Brooke’s third picture book with EK Books will be published and will be illustrated by Brisbane based illustrator, Kristen Willis.
Brooke is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and Write Links. She lives with her teenage daughter and two dogs on the outskirts of Ipswich, on the lands of Jagera and Yuggera people. Brooke is an experienced senior teacher and runs her own tutoring business. In her spare time, she loves to hang out with family and friends, read and go on long walks with her dog, Naava.
