Bren MacDibble is an internationally published multi-award winning author of middle grade adventure novels that deal with futures changed by environmental collapse and survival from a child’s perspective. Her books let readers explore our fragile systems and the resilience of young people and provide a variety of topics for thoughtful reflection and class discussions.

Her titles include How to Bee, The Dog Runner, Across the Risen Sea, The Raven’s Song (with Zana Fraillon), and The Apprentice Witnesser.

Bren also writes for YA under the name Cally Black with the award winning novel In the Dark Spaces.

Bren lives in Kalbarri, WA, and often does online Q&As with classes who’ve read her books and has presented at festivals and workshops in Geraldton, Perth, Busselton, Bunbury, Albany, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland and Wellington.

Bren likes to do presentations focussed on future world-building and first person intensive writing.
