Binny Talib

Binny Talib is an award winning author/illustrator based in inner-city Sydney. Binny has a whimsical, contemporary style and has illustrated over 30 books here and internationally, ranging from picture, baby board, non-fictions and chapters. Her debut as an author /illustrator, Origami Heart, with Hachette Australia was also released in the UK. Her picture book with author Lisa Shanahan was awarded an honour from the CBCA and short listed for the Prime ministers literary awards. 65000 copies were distributed to the children of Victoria for their prep bags, and it was turned into a brail book for visually impaired. She most recently illustrated Sloths love Parties, Affirm press 2024, Sam Francisco King of the Disco, Rocket Bird books UK, The Bewilderbeast with Scholastic, and has written and illustrated The Letter Writer, Windy Hollow Books 2025
