Ben Wood is a children’s book illustrator. He is known for his work on the best-selling book series Real Pigeons, the graphic novels series Hello Twigs, and the new picture book Now You Are A Chicken, all created with author Andrew McDonald.
His books have been translated into 26 languages and been recognised by the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) book of the year awards, the Australian Book Industry Awards and the kids’ choice YABBA, KOALA and KROC awards. When he isn’t drawing stories, Ben visits schools teaching students about visual narratives and illustration. He lives in Naarm/Melbourne.
