Angela Savage is an award-winning writer, CEO of Public Libraries Victoria and experienced public speaker. Her debut novel, Behind the Night Bazaar, won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for Unpublished Manuscript. All three of her Jayne Keeney PI novels were shortlisted for Ned Kelly Awards, with The Dying Beach also shortlisted for the Davitt Awards. Angela won the Scarlet Stiletto Award for short fiction and her short stories have been published in Australia and the UK. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing, giving her the Bond villain-like name of Doctor Savage. Her first non-crime novel, Mother of Pearl, deals with the complex subject of international surrogacy. Angela recently co-edited and contributed to Spinning Around: The Kylie Playlist, an anthology inspired by Kylie Minogue songs.
