Linda Martin

Linda Martin is a writer, editor and co-founder of Night Parrot Press. She has over twenty-five years’ experience working in the publishing industry, having edited at Fremantle Press, UWA Publishing and Magabala Books. She holds a PhD in writing from Edith Cowan University and has lectured in publishing, writing and editing at most Perth universities. Her academic writing has been published in Westerly and Cordite Scholarly and her flash fiction has been published in international journals. She was a judge for the 2026 Dorothy Hewitt Award, the same year her creative nonfiction book, A tale of two publishing houses, was published by Fremantle Press.
