Karen Wasson is a children’s author with a passion for funny stories and fascinating facts. As a kid she devoured books – and still does! After being shortlisted for the Ampersand Prize in 2022, she’s gone on to write internationally published books including the nonfiction picture book Drop into the Ocean and bestselling middle grade graphic novel Inked.
She lives in Melbourne on the unceded lands of the Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nation. Along with her family of humans and Henry, the dog who thinks he’s a human.
