Amy Hutton

Amy Hutton is a Sydney-based award-winning romance author and Promax winning television producer. She is traditionally published; her books being published through Simon & Schuster Australia and Atria Books Australia. Amy writes across several romance sub-genres. Her debut rom-com Sit, Stay, Love was one of Kobo AU’s best romances of 2023 and has been translated into Hungarian. Her follow up Love from Scratch was a 2024 Spotify Wrap Editors’ Pick. Amy’s 2025 release, Ghosted, is a Romance Writers of America prize winner for Best Light Paranormal and has an international release in both the UK and the US. Amy also runs creative writing workshops through senior schools, and workshops aimed at debut authors – mentoring them through the debut experience beyond the writing of their first novel  – run through local adult colleges and Writing NSW.
