Danielle Corrie

Author of Memoir and Biography

based in NSW

Danielle Corrie is a published author from Sydney, Australia, best known for Teida’s Story – Life Through the Eyes of a Dog. Despite struggling with English in school and facing bullying and anxiety, Danielle always had a love for books. At age nine, she developed a deep fear of dogs after being bitten while crossing the road near her home. Many years later, after moving out, a home break-in led police to advise her to get a dog for security. That’s when she met Teida, a six-year-old Staffordshire x Red Cattle Dog in need of a home. What began as a safety measure became a life-changing bond.

Inspired by Teida’s companionship and the loss of a dear friend, Danielle wrote Teida’s Story, a heartfelt journey through Teida’s eyes—from puppyhood to her senior years—exploring faith, hope, friendship, and love.

Beyond writing, Danielle is a motivational speaker, inspiring students and adults across Sydney and the Central Coast of NSW. She has been featured in media, including podcasts, radio, and SBS Australia’s Australian Easter documentary, available in over 25 languages.
