UCTV Alive for Kids is thrilled to announce a special webinar in collaboration with Tasmania Reads, taking place on Monday 6 March from 2:00 – 2:30pm (AEST).
During the show, students will have the opportunity to celebrate local culture and storytelling with Aunty Patsy Cameron, a descendant of the Pairebeenne Trawlwoolway clan in Tasmania. Aunty Patsy will be reading from her book Sea Country and will be available to answer any questions students may have, live.
UCTV Alive for Kids is an interactive online broadcast developed by the Peter Underwood Centre at the University of Tasmania to provide children and young people with fun, extra-curricular learning opportunities. It is aimed at Year 5 and 6 students and hosted by Dr Louise Grimmer. The broadcast is delivered via Zoom Webinar, with appropriate child safe protocols in place. There is no video / audio of the interactions from participants, and only the host and presenter can see the questions being submitted.
