Booklovers! Come along and celebrate Australian Reading Hour!
This year’s theme is READ – SHARE – ENJOY – so book-loving kids aged 8-12 are invited to a pizza and pyjama night to hear authors Ash Harrier (The Alice England Mysteries) and HM Waugh (Evacuation Road, Mars Awakens) read aloud from their WAYBRA-shortlisted books!
- Thursday March 9, 2023
- 5.30 to 6.45pm
- Boya Community Centre, 119-135 Scott Street, Helena Valley, 6056
- Bookings essential – limited spaces
Parents are welcome to drop their kids off and the library will be open for you to browse. Arrive at 5.30 – readings from 5.45 until 6.15 – then a light pizza supper will be served. Books will be on sale thanks to Dymocks Midland and the authors are available to sign copies. The evening concludes at 6.45pm.
