And the unique act of reading a story, or having it read to us, infinitely nourishes our imaginations – bringing much enjoyment and escapism, too. I believe that learning to read, and having access to quality books, is a fundamental right of all children – irrespective of their postcode – and I passionately support literacy programs in disadvantaged communities which facilitate this.”
