“I can’t imagine navigating life without reading. Reading has provided comfort during hard times, a place to escape, entertainment and importantly reading has taught me much about what it means to be a human being. I believe there is no other experience that engages the imagination in such a powerful and important way as reading. When I’ve felt overwhelmed by all that is happening in the world, I just read for a bit, to escape, and I immediately felt less overwhelmed. It is the best possible therapy for me at these times.”
