If you’re a kid and you’re eating his books, you’re doing it wrong.
“I believe, and it’s backed up by Australian research – kids who read for pleasure have better school outcomes across the board. It improves their literacy scores, as you would expect, but it’s been shown to improve their maths scores too. If we made sure every school in Australia had a full-time teacher librarian then we would see better outcomes for all our kids.”
